Dressing for YOUR body
Due to the many many individual asks I’ve received about flattering and minimizing different body parts, and flattering your bodies, Ive created a quick guide for flattering your bodies.
It should be pretty simple to figure out what you should and shouldn’t be doing in certain areas (whether to enhance or hide problem areas). At the bottom of the page is a brilliant little website I found that helps you easily identify what body type you will most closely relate too, and tons of tips for flattering your own body.
Remember, I am a strong believer in body acceptance. That means not putting down other people’s bodies, as well as accepting and loving your own body. Your body is your home, it will be the only thing in your life you will have start to end, with no missing intervals. It will get you through thick and thin, and for that, it deserves your love. You deserve your love.
With confidence, comes the ability to pull of ANY outfit. No matter how laid back or daring, believing in yourself will allow you radiate confidence, and believe you me, this confidence will show, and you will look fresh and stylish.
Lastly, (sorry, this turned into another lecture of sorts) wear clothes that make YOU feel confident, and most like yourself or the person you want to be. Dont try to be anyone else, because everyone except your own unique self is taken.
As the brilliant Coco Chanel once said : “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different”
And as a more recent brilliant woman, Diane Von Furstenberg said : “When a woman becomes her own best friend, life is easier”.
I hope you all enjoy my new little dressing resource!
